All Saints is a popular venue for weddings throughout the year. It is a charming church that is well placed within easy distance of good hotels for the reception.
Imagine walking down the aisle to the organist playing Wagner’s Bridal March or the Trumpet Voluntary. Or what about Pachelbel? And walking back out as the happy couple to Mendelsohn’s Wedding March. There’s nothing like a church wedding is there?
Within the service there will be two hymns of your choice and also music played during the signing of the registers. Some couples bring a string quartet or a soloist, or what about a harpist? Or just keep it simple, the choice is yours.
There are fresh flowers placed in church every week but you may like to add a pedestal or table arrangement. Or on the windows ledges set off with lit candles. Pew-ends always look lovely. Our only stipulation is that flowers are all fresh and natural.
Banns will be read on the first three Sundays before the month of the wedding. If you live out of the parish then you will need to have them read in your home parish as well. You will be issued with a certificate from the vicar there which you will need to bring to us and there is a small charge for this.
Orders of Service
Couples usually like to make their own orders of service. We can supply you with a picture of the church which you can use on the front piece. We do provide a service booklet with the ceremony so you only need to print off the chosen hymns. But you can be as adventurous as you like! Photos, ribbons etc. whatever will make it special for you two. Just let us see a copy first please! We can supply you with the words of the hymns chosen as well.
We work well with visiting photographer/videographers and we make sure that they are given a good location to work from to get the best shots. There is an extra charge of £60 to be allowed to have a video within the service.
And what does all this cost? Well, a complete wedding at All Saints will cost about £560 (plus an extra £60 for the video licence).
If you would like to book your wedding with us, or just to have some more information please contact the vicar.
