Baptism

Christening is another word for Baptism.

Holy Baptisms are usually held in All Saints at 1pm, however a Baptism during the morning service at 11am would be most welcome.  It is best to book well in advance as we sometimes get very busy, especially in the summer months.

There is no charge for admitting anyone in the family of God.

Godparents

We stipulate that all godparents have been baptised. If someone hasn’t been baptised and they have been asked to be a godparent then please contact the vicar and we can have a chat about the possibility of adult baptism.

Meeting up

If you would like your child to be baptised then please contact the vicar to make arrangements. We will arrange to see you and explain what happens at the service, which usually takes about 30 minutes. We only ever have two family baptisms at the same service and you can invite as many people as you like!

Videos and photographs are allowed during the service, but please remember guests are invited to witness and partake in the service, and not to be glued to their camera or phone uploading pictures to facebook.
